The Mirage Q6 from ADJ is a really nice uplighting system that comes in at a lower cost and with better features than other units on the market. Is it right for you?

The ADJ Lighting Mirage Q6 PAK is an all-in-one event up lighting system with six (6) IP65 rated, battery powered fixtures and a durable flight case with an on-board battery charging solution.

Each Mirage Q6 IP fixture is powered by four (4) 10W RGBA LEDs that produce a 11-degree beam angle. The fixture is IP65 rated and is waterproof; suitable for temporary use outdoors with protection against the elements (rain, snow, dust and sand). Built-in WiFLY EXR wireless DMX allows for the fixtures to communicate with a lighting controller, also with WiFLY EXR wireless DMX, up to 2,500 feet (700M) away.

If you do a LOT uplighting gigs, you may be looking at options like this and the Chauvet WELL. These are lower-priced than the competitors, and offer all of the same features, plus a few more.

They're pretty bright, narrow, and have a nice chrome housing for weddings/special events. What we really like is that they start charging the second you drop them in their case (when it's plugged in and the lid is open). You don't have to plug them in!

Then, once they're out they have the ability to enable their theft protection - set this, and if someone picks the light up, it will make an audible alarm sound and flash red. So as long as you weren't doing a red-flashing chase in a really loud room, it will be noticeable!

This is what really sets this light apart from the others in the wedding/event uplighting space!
