Optimal Performance
With over 32,000 LEDs per panel, the Optic-3X can supply a refined image at close viewing distances. A minimum 3,840≥ Hz refresh rate ensures flicker-free performance and excellent visibility on cameras. A 16-bit grayscale powered by a NovaStar receiving card provides advanced image processing for smooth gradients and vivid, high-contrast imagery in person and on-camera.
Optimal Functionality
The Optic-3 is front-serviceable with magnetically attached LED modules for easy user-level service and maintenance. Optic-3 series panels use direct PCB module connections, free of flat ribbon cables, with a detachable power/control housing internal components paired with a NovaStar A5S Plus receiving card for top-level performance and reliability. Its light-weight die-cast aluminum casing, combined with remarkable power efficiency, fanless cooling, and silent operation defines how it can meet and excel in a variety of industry standards.

Here's why we like the Optic series from DVS. These video wall panels offer high-quality build without the high quality price.
They use high quality, Nationstar LED's which in this panel are 2x2mm in size and 3.9mm apart. This makes for a good mask ratio so there is less black space between pixels. This helps them to look great on camera and avoid unwanted issues like the moire effect or other artifacts. This is a standard sized LED for 3.9mm panels, avoid panels that put smaller LED's on 3.9mm walls!
The brightness of these panels is 1000 nits - for indoor use, lower is typically better and many panels are much brighter than these. For indoor use, you almost always turn the panels down lower than 100%, which then lowers your color resolution. This makes colors and motion graphics look their best.
We also love the corner protectors and swappable power/control units. This is a gig-saving feature as you don't have to remove a whole panel if you have a power supply or receiving card go bad and need to replace it.
