This is the 5-pin version of this splitter. What I really like about it is that it has (2) DMX universes, and each port can be assigned to either universe with a little switch.
Other units on the market are fixed with 4/4 ports to each universe, some of them allow you to do all of the ports on (1) universe or split, but none offer this level of flexibility.
Need (5) ports of universe A and 7 ports of universe B? Done! (2) ports of universe A and (8) ports of universe B? You can do that too!
