Festoon 2 RGB

The Chauvet Festoon 2 gives you individual pixel control of RGB string lights.  And that's pretty cool.  We love that the bulbs can be replaced individually if broken. 

They tend to work well, but there are (2) things about this particular light that we don't love.  The first is that they are IP54 - so they're really not super-waterproof and aren't for permanent install outside.  The second is that the controller runs regular DMX instead of a network-based DMX.  If you fill up your controllers with add-on lights, you'll use 180 or more DMX channels per controller, and that's a lot for one fixture, possibly requiring you to use Art-Net or sACN nodes to get enough channels.

Still, these are the simplest, easiest, out-of-the-box solution to get RGB string lights with individual pixel control.
